Grilled Blackened Tilapia - THIS WAS AWESOME! AND VERY QUICK AND SIMPLE! I did make a few changes. I did half Spanish paprika and half Smoked paprika. It added a hint of smokiness. Also, I did 1/4 tsp of the cayenne pepper. Had the right amount of heat for me (who can't take much heat). I had 7 pieces of Tilapia and used all the rub. But doubled the butter.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound tilapia
  • 1 T butter
Blackening Rub
  • 3 T paprika
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 T onion powder
  • 1 t black pepper
  • 1 t dry thyme
  • 1 t dry oregano
  • 1/2 t garlic powder
  • 1/4 t to 1 t cayenne pepper to taste
